Living the Resort Lifestyle in The Enclave at Rapallo

The Enclave at Rapallo

“Most Successful new community in the History of Southwest Florida.” Feasonomics Report 2005

You gaze across the lake to the roseate spoonbills feeding at the edge of the Halfway Creek wildlife preserve. You take a sip of coffee and go back to the morning paper, eggs-over-easy and relaxed conversation. No rush. You have lots of time before the tennis match. Maybe even time for a fitness clinic or a few lengths in the lap pool. then maybe finish it off with a massage before lunch at Coconut Point. Who knows, there might even be time for a little window shopping while you’re there. the only question is “Will you catch the sunset from the beach, the lagoon pool, or your lanai?” Life’s pretty good at The Enclave at Rapallo.

The resort-lifestyle is all about time. Having time for family and friends… and making time for you.

You’ve paid your dues and now you want to spoil yourself a little with an upscale, cosmopolitan but relaxed place to live. A safe place with a sense of community but also interconnected to everything else. A beautiful special place to practice your hobbies and realize some of your dreams. And most of all, you want the time to enjoy it.

Baby Boomers do want it all – the nostalgia of childhood neighborhoods, the freedom of maintenance-free homes, every amenity imaginable and the plugged-in lifestyle. Connected to everything, but on their own terms.

Rapallo at Coconut Point was created for Baby Boomers, with a pedestrian-scale, 114 acre, 540 home, 100 percent waterfront community with lush landscaping and walking/biking paths connecting residents to club amenities, shopping and neighbors.

Although Rapallo is a gated community, five pedestrian gates interconnect residents to arterial walkways and the 140 restaurants and shops of Coconut Point Town Center just minutes away, encouraging people to “leave the car at home.”

The flipside of Rapallo’s connectivity is its abundance of open greenspace. Rapallo’s low intensity design creates breathing room for 24 acres of lakes, 43 acres of protected wildlife preserve and nature boardwalk and 3 corner parks for picnics, bocce, botanical gardens, or just taking it all in.

The members-only resort-lifestyle Club at Rapallo delivers an incomparable choice of sports, leisure, learning and social activities. The Mediterranean clubhouse and lagoon pools, the tennis center and stadium court, the fitness center and Olympic lap pool, the arts and learning studios, the botanical gardens, the bocce courts, the beach shuttle, the stocked lakes, the wildlife preserve and three miles of walking/biking paths make Rapallo the club with just about everything. And club membership is included with every home. there are no annual club dues and no monthly minimums.

Attention to detail is everything at Rapallo. From antiquity to today, the Mediterranean coastal towns have embraced a simpler yet fuller life in harmony with nature and the community itself. That ideal was the inspiration for Rapallo at coconut Point, capturing the Mediterranean mosaic of serenity and romance and connecting it to the Baby Boomer lifestyle.

The Wallace design team made many trips to Liguria, Italy studying those coastal towns. The result is architecture which avoids the stereotype of horizontal lines and beige monotones and instead creates a look truly inspired by the Riviera.

Random roof lines, vertical breaks, a mix of Tuscan, French and Moorish towers, deep shadow lines, contrasting color palettes with stone, brick, tile and copper accents plus hidden off-street garages bring the real Mediterranean to life.

Perhaps that’s why the Estero Community Planning Panel and the Estero Design Review committee presented the 2007 David Graham Award to Rapallo at Coconut Point as the Development of the Year.

“Seven years ago, when we first sketched the concept for Rapallo” says Jim Wallace, the creator of Rapallo, “we envisioned a unique experience where connectivity, pedestrian scale, green space, public art, shape and color all contribute to a community with a sense of place. In the end, great communities are not judged by their bricks and mortar but rather by their culture and charity. I believe we have succeeded.”

The jewel of Rapallo is an exclusive, gated enclave of 90 coach homes completely surrounded by lakes which run along the Halfway Creek wildlife preserve.

Each of the lanais of the Enclave at Rapallo residences offers breathtaking 400-foot to 700-foot views across the lake to the spoonbills, egrets, and flowering littorals – literally a front-row seat to nature’s theatre.

And in addition to all the clubhouse, pool, tennis, and fitness amenities of the Club at Rapallo, the Enclave offers its residents their own clubhouse, pool, picnic and entertainment area within the lush median park with ponds and coconut palms.

So if you’re entertaining more friends than your home can accommodate, the Enclave clubhouse can handle up to 60 guests. And if you or the grandkids want a quick dip in the pool, it’s just outside your front door.

Each of the Enclave at Rapallo coach home residences is a three bedroom, two bath, with single-car garage offered in five floor plans ranging from 1,606 to 1,836 air-conditioned square feet and 2,078 to 2,264 total square feet, priced from $279,240 to $324,420.

Every Enclave building has a different look. No cookie-cutter here. And every home includes 130-mph hurricane-impact-glass windows and doors, fire-sprinklers and many upgrades as standard. there is no CDD and prices include full membership in the Club at Rapallo.

Decorated models of each of the five Enclave at Rapallo floor plans are open every day from 9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. There are a dozen Enclave residences still available for purchase.

For a tour of the Club at Rapallo amenities and more specific details visit the sales center any day between 9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Special incentives and “fly and buy” packages are available.
